HERSHAM IN BLOOM March 20th 2010
Hersham in Bloom's most recent project has been a joint venture with the Surrey Bee Keepers Association and Burhill School to provide an educational facility within the school to teach children about bees and their role in the environment. Hersham in Bloom's involvement helped to clear the ground and plant suitable shrubs that will attract bees to the area. Most of the work at the school took place on Saturday 20th March 2010.

HERSHAM IN BLOOM June 2010
A Vintage Water Bowser has been lovingly restored by Hersham in Bloom volunteers and now sits in a prominent position outside the Centre for Retired People in Queens Road, opposite Hersham Green The bowser was generously donated by Veolia Environmental Services and painted - in British Racing Green! - by Sandown Coachworks Ltd. Initial planting of the 13 tubs around the main barrel has taken place and we are looking forward to a spectacular display in time for the judging in the middle of July.
